THE STORY BEHIND SCAPE INK

Scape Ink exists because I chose to follow my heart.
 

I grew up drawing. Like many kids, I spent countless hours sketching fantasy characters, monsters, weapons, and imaginary worlds inspired by the games I loved. As life moved on, that passion slowly faded into the background.

Years later, while playing Old School RuneScape, I met the woman who would eventually become my Wife. During my time serving in the British Army, she encouraged me to start creating again and gifted me an iPad. What started as a simple creative outlet quickly reignited a passion I thought I'd lost.

The more I created, the more I felt pulled toward a different path.

​

What some people might call coincidence, I see as synchronicity. Looking back, a series of seemingly unrelated events led me here: meeting my wife through a game, rediscovering art, leaving the military, and eventually building a business around something I genuinely love.

Those early sketches evolved into digital illustrations, then apparel designs, and eventually Scape Ink.

​

Today, every design begins as hand-drawn artwork inspired by fantasy worlds, adventure, and the communities that shaped me. Scape Ink is more than clothing, it's a reflection of creativity, imagination, and the belief that sometimes the things we're drawn toward are worth pursuing.

I'm a husband, father, veteran, and full-time artist. This brand is built by one person creating the kind of artwork and apparel he wishes existed.
